The Meling Biomedical YC-650L provides 650 L (22.95 cu. ft.) of refrigerated storage within an upright, single-door cabinet. Its microprocessor controller, air-cooling system, temperature logging, and multiple alarm functions support temperature-controlled storage in pharmacy and laboratory environments.
Five height-adjustable, plastic-coated steel wire shelves help organize stored materials. A stainless-steel interior, double-pane glass door, ergonomic handle, and four casters provide convenient storage access and cabinet mobility.

Temperature Control and Refrigeration
The YC-650L operates within a 2°C to 8°C temperature range. Its microprocessor controller and digital display provide temperature monitoring, with readings displayed in 0.1°C increments. The refrigeration system uses air cooling, automatic defrosting, and R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.
Typical performance figures are:
- Temperature uniformity: 2.0°C variation
- Pull-down time to 5°C: 0.4 hours, equivalent to 24 minutes
- Temperature recovery after a one-minute door opening: 0.1 hours, equivalent to 6 minutes
These figures are based on manufacturer internal testing at a 5°C set point and a 25°C ambient temperature.
Temperature Logging and Monitoring
The built-in data logger records temperature every 10 minutes and has a capacity of 100,000 data records. Recorded data can be exported through the USB port.
An RS485 interface and remote alarm contact provide additional connection options. The refrigerator also includes a backup battery and one 23 mm-diameter access port.
