The Meling Biomedical YC-130L provides 130 L (4.59 cu. ft.) of refrigerated storage within a compact undercounter cabinet. Its 2°C to 8°C temperature range, microprocessor controller, temperature logging, and multiple alarm functions support temperature-controlled storage in pharmacy and laboratory environments.
The cabinet measures 650 × 625 × 810 mm (W × D × H) and fits beneath a standard 34-inch-high countertop. A double-pane glass door provides visibility into the storage compartment, which contains three plastic-coated steel wire shelves.

Temperature Control and Refrigeration
The YC-130L combines a microprocessor temperature controller with a digital display that shows temperature in 0.1°C increments. Its refrigeration system uses air cooling and automatic defrosting.
Manufacturer internal prototype testing reports the following typical performance:
- Temperature uniformity: 0.6°C
- Pull-down time to 5°C: 40 minutes
- Temperature recovery after a one-minute door opening: 12 minutes
These figures are based on testing at a 5°C set point and a 25°C ambient temperature. Results may vary between units.
Temperature Logging and Monitoring
The data logger records temperature every 10 minutes and has a capacity of 100,000 data records. Up to 12 months of data can be exported through the USB port. An RS485 interface and remote alarm contact provide additional connection options.
A backup battery maintains real-time temperature display and alarm functions during a power failure.
