DW-HL110V Ultra-Low Freezer

The Meling Biomedical DW-HL110V provides 110 L (3.88 cu. ft.) of ultra-low temperature storage within a compact undercounter cabinet. Its galvanized sheet interior, optional stainless-steel interior and one stainless-steel shelf provide storage options for laboratory and biomedical materials. Without freezer racks, it can accommodate 9,000 cryotubes.

The freezer combines a −40°C to −86°C temperature range, microprocessor temperature control, an inverter compressor, temperature logging and multiple alarm functions. The cabinet measures 978 × 662 × 815 mm (W × D × H) and includes a 10.1-inch LCD touch screen, a safety lock, an ergonomic handle and four heavy-duty casters, two with brakes.

Temperature Control and Refrigeration

The DW-HL110V uses a microprocessor controller and a 10.1-inch HD LCD touch screen. Its refrigeration system features direct cooling, manual defrosting, one inverter compressor and hydrocarbon refrigerant.

Manufacturer internal prototype testing reports the following typical performance:

- Temperature fluctuation: 1.5°C
- Daily energy consumption: 4.48 kWh per 24 hours
- Cooling time: 100 minutes, equivalent to 1 hour and 40 minutes

These figures are based on internal prototype testing at a −80°C set point and a 25°C ambient temperature and may vary between units.

Temperature Logging and Monitoring

The built-in data logger records temperature every 5 minutes and stores up to 10 years of temperature data. A USB port supports data export.

An RS485 interface and remote alarm contact provide additional connection options. The freezer also includes a backup battery and one access port, 25 mm in diameter.
