Zhongke Meiling Cryogenics was founded in 2002 as a joint venture between Changhong Meling and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Its work includes laboratory refrigeration, biomedical freezing and ultra-low temperature storage.[1]
Our current Meling range provides 15 equipment models across five temperature families: 2°C to 8°C refrigerators, −10°C to −25°C biomedical freezers, −15°C to −30°C biomedical freezers, −20°C to −40°C low-temperature freezers, and −40°C to −86°C ULT freezers. That gives laboratories a choice of compact and upright cabinets, with different capacities and storage arrangements.[2]
Two independent refrigeration systems on the DW-HL530 and DW-HL780
The 530 L DW-HL530 and 780 L DW-HL780 use two independent refrigeration systems. Their specification sheets state that, if one compressor fails, the remaining independent system can maintain −80°C. This is a specific design distinction when assessing refrigeration redundancy.[2]
The compact DW-HL50 and DW-HL110V provide 50 L and 110 L of ULT storage with one compressor each. All four models have a −40°C to −86°C operating range. Their different formats, storage configurations and features should guide the shortlist.[2]
Published specifications to support comparison
The model pages and specification sheets provide dimensions, storage arrangements, monitoring features and published performance data. Review the test conditions alongside energy consumption, pull-down time, door-opening recovery and temperature performance. ULT performance data in the supplied sheets are stated at a −80°C setpoint and 25°C ambient temperature.[2]
